Taking it to the Next Level

Last summer, since I was unemployed for 3 months, all I did was yoga. I practiced Bikram 6 times a week. I think I was able to take my practice to the next level. But just when I was starting to feel the improvements, I went to Japan for a month and after I got back, I started working, so I lost it. Well, I didn't quite lose it, but when I came back from Japan, I wasn't as good as when I left. I wonder where my practice would have been if I had kept up the 5-6 classes/week schedule.

Well, the summer is here again and with my new fascination with Ashtanga yoga, I have decided I'm going to dedicate my summer to yoga again. In March, I went to Ashtanga/Mysore class 2-3 times a week and did Bikram 3-4 times a week, so I just need to get back to that.

Just thought I'd post this so I have something to look back to when I'm feelin' lazy...

Masako-san: Thank you for the comment! Yes, I agree with you - my love of yoga isn't related to how often I practice. But I think I feel more motivated when I'm practicing more frequently.
